REG'S  Family

He was a sportsman who loved baseball & softball.


This was Reginald Doubrough as he looked in 1939 when he and his teamates won the Championship for the Stratford Nationals. His brother Tip was also a member of the team.

CNR MOGALS win two championships in 1926. The Senior City League and the Rotary Cup series.

                             Reg (Dewey) Doubrough is front row 2nd from the left.

 Reg coached one of the earliest girls Softball teams in Stratford. The National Maids was organized in

1931. His wife Rose was also on the team.

This picture is Rose and Reg Doubrough on their 50th Wedding Anniversary in Stratford Ontario in 1968.
Reg joined the Canadian Army in 1918, then in June 26 1919 was employed at the Grand Trunk Railway Locomotive Shops after his military service was completed.
He retired from The Canadian National Railway in 1960 as Electrical Forman.
